  • Ravi Bhatnagar is Director - External Affairs and Partnerships at Reckitt – South Asia. Before this role, he was in similar position leading Asia, Middle East and South Africa (AMESA) region. He is a qualified Independent Director (Institute of Directors) and Co-Chair at ASSOCHAM CSR Council and high-powered Empowerment Council; Board Member at Population Services International (PSI) and sits on the FICCI-ISC Advisory Committee on Water, Sanitation and Plastic. He serves on various committees and commissions of Government of India on governance, health, and financial transparency.
  • Before joining Reckitt, Ravi worked in challenging positions leading global public policy and public affairs in APAC, Africa and South Asia. He started his career at The World Bank – Technical Support Unit, leading health sector investment programs, which led to regional health systems strengthening across South Asia. He has worked on drug access programs and essential medicine programs towards global price reduction of essential medicines on HIV/AIDS, Pneumonia, Ebola and SARS with Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). He has led global efforts on Polio eradication in India, Bangladesh, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Papua New Guinea, and Haiti, under global health missions of G7 and BRICS. He has chaired global taskforce on Diarrhoea, Pneumonia at UNGA, World Health Assembly.
  • He is one of the recipients of WTO-Hall of Fame for his work on macro-economics and women’s health. In recognition of his work in India, he is bestowed Indian Achiever’s Award by His Excellency the President of India and Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India, he is also recipient of Gandhi Mandela Batch of Honor for his work on peace building and access to healthcare during conflict.
  • He is an Alumni of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and Life Founding member of Leaders’ Excellence Harvard Square.
