Designation: Former CMD of Central Bank of India, ex. Chief Executive of Indian Banks Association

Mr. Mohan Tanksale has spent more than four and a half decades right from rural areas to top positions in the banking industry. He has been a member of a high profile committee of UNEP (United Nations Environment Program) pertaining to SDGs alongside Ms. Naina Lal Kidwai. As the Chief Executive of IBA, he played a pivotal role in drafting the National Voluntary Guidelines for Responsible Financing in close consultation with GIZ.

 

Conferred with several awards, distinctions and accolades during his rich career, Mr. Mohan Tanksale has won the GOLDEN PEACOCK HR EXCELLENCE AWARD 2012, PERSON OF THE YEAR for his contribution to Financial Inclusion by SKOCH Foundation, to name a few. He was a member of several Committees and Governing Councils, including:

• The Governing Council of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF)
