India Sanitation Coalition hosted a day long knowledge workshop on “Why Correct Infrastructure Holds a Key to Sustainability in Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen)” on 1st September at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Jitendra Srivastava, Joint Secretary and Mission Director Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) at the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Ms. Naina Lal Kidwai, Chair and Ms. Natasha Patel, CEO India Sanitation Coalition. Post his keynote address, Shri Srivastava engaged in a one-on-one with the audience, leading to an invigorating discussion on SBMG progress, roadblocks, way forward and innovative ideas and solutions. The inaugural was followed by thematic sessions on SLWM infrastructure across the SBMG 2.0 value chain. The workshop saw active contribution and participation from leading sector experts, government and non-government practitioners, corporate houses, and representatives from their implementation arms.
