About the Position:
India Sanitation Coalition is looking for a Program Manager for their Knowledge Management and Research vertical. The Knowledge Management and Research vertical of ISC leads development and creation of knowledge resources for WASH for ISC and its core partners in the thematic areas of water supply and sanitation as well as social development with WASH as a central theme.
The position will be responsible for sector specific and cross-sectoral research assignments/projects of ISC and partners along with building knowledge resources for ISC including the annual “Business of Change” compendium.
Job Details

Conducting primary and secondary research, as required, to arrive at the insights needed for impact assessment, baseline analysis, needs assessment, etc., for current ISC projects or to spot potential opportunities for social impact in the WASH sector.

Assist in translating concepts into proposals for client-centric project needs. Conducting secondary research to establish context and relevance for proposed interventions.

Extensive coordination with non-profit organizations, start-ups and social enterprises in the WASH sector for data collection on ISC’s flagship knowledge product, the “Business of Change” compendium.

Assist in data collation, analysis, writing and editing of the “Business of Change” compendium.

Assist in researching and writing concept notes, white papers, Op-eds, articles, and blog posts related to the WASH sector.

Assist other ISC verticals in their requirements related to knowledge management and research.
Skills Required: Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. Computer literacy with excellent Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
