Guidelines For Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) Phase-II

The Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) Phase-II programme will be implemented from 2020-2021 to 2024-2025. The guidelines under this program aim at Open Defecation Free Plus (ODF Plus), which includes ODF sustainability and Solid and Liquid Waste Management (SLWM). This program will also work towards ensuring that no one is left behind and that everyone uses a toilet.

The solid and liquid waste management (SLWM) component will be monitored based on the output-outcome indicators for four key areas, which are:

management of plastic wastes
bio-degradable solid wastes (including animal wastes)
greywater
faecal sludge
