Plastic Circular Cities Maharashtra

India Sanitation Coalition, along with funding partner Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, 3 implementing partners, Sampurn(e)arth, Feedback Foundation and Recity Network Pvt Ltd organized an event on 1st March at Godrej One to share mid-research findings of the survey conducted in 6 cities in Maharashtra with million plus population under the Plastic Circular Cities project which commenced in October 2023.

 

The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Natasha Patel, CEO, India Sanitation Coalition followed by Ms. Gayatri Divecha, Head of Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility, Godrej Group, who spoke about Godrej’s commitment to a cleaner and greener environment.

 

This was followed by the 3 implementation partners who presented their findings on the journey of solid waste from households to the MRF in their cities and the discussions were based around the findings. Partners also shared areas of intervention which emerged post their survey. Corporates were invited to this event for them to pick up pieces to fund for the next phase of the project.
