Building a Cleaner Future - Strengthening Sanitation in Rohat

The Lighthouse Initiative Phase II continues to make strides in Rohat block of Pali district in Rajasthan where 48 participants from 20 Gram Panchayats (GPs) came together for a training to strengthen their commitment to sanitation and creation of Lighthouse blocks. The training on February 28, 2025, was conducted in Rohat block which has received support from Nayara Energy as the corporate partner in becoming a Lighthouse block.

Participants gained insights into the vision of a Lighthouse Block—a model for sustainable sanitation—and took part in a triggering exercise to understand the importance of WASH. The session concluded with an engaging activity to develop Village Development Plans (VDPs) through learnings from the sessions.
